🍋 From Lemons to Lemonade

Life hasn't always been easy. Growing up in a home shaped by addiction, struggling to find purpose, and eventually hitting rock bottom — these are the lemons life handed us. But we chose to make lemonade.

After spending much of her early adult life battling addiction, our founder found herself in prison in her 30s. Instead of giving up, she used that time to rebuild from the inside out — rediscovering a love of creating that had been sparked in childhood summers spent crafting with her grandmother. Drawing, crocheting, making things by hand — creativity became her lifeline and her path forward.

After her release, she became a cross-country truck driver, traveling the country for years before trading the open road for something she had always dreamed of: motherhood. Today, she teaches at the very trucking school she graduated from, helping others find their own fresh starts.

But the love of creating never left her heart.

👩‍👧 A Family Business Built on Love

MakeLemonade615 is truly a family dream — run by three women who live together, raise their children together, and build something meaningful together.

💛 Mom turned her life around and built a successful 30-year career in real estate. She now serves as a board member at Sweet Addiction, giving back to others on their own journeys of recovery.

💛 Sister lives with Chiari malformation, which makes traditional work difficult — but creating gives her purpose, joy, and a way to contribute every single day.

💛 Our founder is a mom, truck driver instructor, and lifelong maker who dreams of one day working from home, raising her son surrounded by creativity and love.

This shop gives all three of us a chance to build something beautiful together — and to lift each other up every step of the way.
